Brief Description:

Dr. Colleen Duffy Putting severe problem behavior in context Colleen M. Duffy, EdD, is currently serving as chair of the Teacher Education Department and the director of Graduate Teacher Education at Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania. She is a former K-12 biology and environmental science teacher and earned her doctorate in educational leadership with a focus in educational technology from Wilkes University in 2016. Her teaching and research interests are focused on assessment, the effective integration of technology to increase achievement and all things STEM. She seeks to improve teacher preparation by infusing opportunities for students to engage in inter-professional education such as those currently offered by the Teacher Education Department in collaboration with Misericordia’s Autism for Lifelong Learning Center. Evidence-based interventions for severe problem behavior Michael E. Kelley, PhD, LP, BCBA-D, graduated from Louisiana State University in 2003 with a doctorate in psychology. Dr. Kelley is currently a professor in the Panuska College of Professional Studies at the University of Scranton. He has held faculty and administrative positions at Emory University, the University of Southern Maine, the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Florida Institute of Technology. Dr. Kelley’s clinical and research interests lie in assessment and intervention of the symptoms of autism, severe problem behavior, treatment relapse, and bridging basic and applied research
